Narsingdi train accident: Another crushed to death while visiting spot

A man was killed after being crushed by a train while visiting an accident spot where five people were crushed to death a mail train after falling off its roof in Raipura upazila of Narsingdi on Monday.

The identity of the diseased could not be known immediately, according to local media reports.

The victim died in the area around 12:00 pm, Methikanda Railway Station Master Ashraf Ali said.

Earlier, five people were crushed to death under the wheels of a Dhaka-bound Chattogram mail train after falling off its roof in the area around 6:00 am.

Locals spotted the bodies lying by the rail track in the morning and informed the police.

Afsan Alam, additional police super (Raipura Circle), said that locals could not identify them. The deceased are believed to be inhabitants from distant areas.
