NBR seeks bank account details of Sheikh Selim, his family

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has asked banks, financial institutions, National Savings Directorate and Postal Department to provide account details Sheikh Fazlul Karim and his family members.

The tax zone 15 of the NBR issued a letter on Tuesday instructing relevant authorities to furnish information on credit cards and bank accounts of Selim, his wife, parents, children, siblings, as well as the business entities he owns.

Additionally, information on the accounts of his son Sheikh Fazle Fahim, the former president of the FBCCI and his family members was also sought.
