Police on Wednesday night arrested former State Minister for Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak and former Deputy Speaker Shamsul Haque Tuku from the capital’s Nikunja Residential Area.
Obaidur Rahman, additional deputy commissioner of police, confirmed the matter to a local online portal.
According to him, Palak and Tuku were hiding in the Nikunja Residential Area. Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid and arrested them.
