Police constable killed in clashes in Khulna

A policeman was killed in clashes between police and protesters in Khulna. The deceased has been identified as Suman, a constable stationed at the Police Lines. 

The clashes took place between Friday afternoon and evening at the Zero Point, Gollamari Circle, and Khulna University areas of the city following a mass procession called by the Anti-discrimination Student Movement.

According to a local media report, about 20-25 police personnel have also been injured in the incidents.
