Police verification will no longer be required for passport issuance, Chief Advisor Dr Muhammad Yunus announced on Sunday.
Speaking at the District Administrator (DC) Conference, Dr Yunus instructed district administrators to inform the public about the policy change.
The three-day DC Conference began today at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital.
Earlier in the morning, Dr Yunus inaugurated the event at Shapla Hall in his office. The conference will conclude on February 18.
