A freedom fighters’ rally will be held in Dhaka on Thursday, protesting derogatory remarks against freedom fighters and the liberation war during the recent movement for reformation of quota system in government jobs.
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque on Wednesday said the rally will be held at the south gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 3:00 pm on Thursday under the banner of Muktijoddha-Sramik-Karmachari-Peshajibi Shamannoy Parishad.
The minister gave the information at a press conference at Jatiya Press Club in Dhaka. Awami League Presidium Member Shahjahan Khan, Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury, Qamrul Islam and Mostofa Jalal Mohiuddin were present, among others.
