Prof Saleemul Huq ranks fourth among global climate change influencers

Prof Saleemul Huq of Bangladesh, director of IUB's International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD), has been named as one of the global climate change influencers. Onalytica, a UK-based internet marketing platform, has named him fourth among the world's top 20 'Climate Change Influencers.'

In its report "Environmental Sustainability: A Study into Tech Brands' Perception & Impact", Onalytica obsrved the influencers' subject influence on Twitter and LinkedIn, as well as how much they are referenced inside blogs and online media,

Influencers on the list is reported to have a two-million audience reach.

Previously, Prof Saleemul was recognised as one of the top twenty global influencers on climate change policy in 2019. He is the lone Bangladeshi on the Reuters Hot List of the world's top climate scientists for 2021.
