Quota protesters block Dhaka’s Science Lab intersection

Demanding the reinstatement of the government's 2018 circular that abolished the quota system in government jobs, students of Dhaka College and Eden Mohila College have blocked the Science Lab intersection in the capital.

As part of their pre-announced protest programme, the students blocked the intersection at around 3:50 pm on Monday.

Earlier, Dhaka College students brought out a protest march. When the procession reached the Eden Mohila College area, Eden students joined the march.

Later, the students from the two institutions blocked the Science Lab intersection, halting vehicular movements in the area.
