RAB cordons off 'bomb factory' in Badda

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have cordoned off a house in the Tekpara area of East Badda, under the Badda thana of the capital, on suspicion of it being a bomb-making factory.

The elite force says they have information that a large quantity of illegal bombs and bomb-making materials have been stockpiled at the house.

Commanding Officer of the RAB-3, Lt Col Firoj Kabir, confirmed the information on Wednesday night.

A bomb disposal unit has been dispatched to the scene, he said.

Details of the raid will be disclosed later.
