Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed a ban on all kinds of meeting, rally and procession in nine places in the capital.
The residence of the chief justice, the judges' complex, the main gate of the Supreme Court, the entrance gate-1 and 2 of the International Crimes Tribunal and the Judicial Administration Training Institute will remain within the purview of the restriction.
The DMP announced the ban in a public notice issued on Thursday.
The DMP has taken the move amid severe traffic congestion and immense public sufferings due to road blockade programmes in recent times.
