Sagar-Runi murder: Probe report submission deferred for 109th time

A court in Dhaka has deferred the deadline to submit the probe report for the 109th time in a case filed over the murder of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi.

Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Mahbubul Haque gave the order on Sunday as the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), the investigation agency in the case, failed to submit the report.

The court also extended the probe report submission deadline until August 4.
