The cabinet of the interim government has abolished a law, which enabled ‘the family members of the father of the nation’ to have SSF and VVIP protection.
The cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus, on Thursday also decided to be a part of the 'International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance (ICPPED).
The meeting also decided to ratify the ‘Agreement under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biological Diversity of Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ Agreement).
