SK+F Pharmaceuticals warehouse fire in Tongi brought under control

A fire that broke out in a godown of SK+F Pharmaceuticals in Gazipur’s Tongi on Sunday afternoon has been doused nearly after three hours.

The fire was doused around 3:35 pm, said Md Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector of the Fire Service and Civil Defence Media Cell.

He said that they received information regarding the blaze at SK+F Pharmaceuticals in Kathalbari road area around 12:50 pm, reports UNB.

On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 2:30 pm.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately, added the fire officer.

No casualties were reported.
