A delegation of students and job seekers submitted a memorandum to President Mohammed Shahabuddin, demanding reform in the quota system in government jobs.
The Military Secretary to the President received the memorandum on his behalf around 3 pm at Bangabhaban.
After the submission of the single-demand memo, the delegation headed for Gulistan.
Earlier in the day, the students began marching at noon from Dhaka University and took a stand at Zero Point around 1:10 pm.
