A clash broke out between the students of Dhaka City College and Ideal College in the capital's Science Lab area on Sunday.
The conflict began around 4:30 pm, leading to the suspension of traffic in the area. As a result, the surrounding roads experienced severe congestion.
During the confrontation, both groups chased each other and hurled bricks and stones, according to eyewitnesses.
A large number of police officers have been deployed at the scene, working to bring the situation under control.
However, the exact cause of the clash remains unknown.
