Emergency workers have put out a fire that swept through 10 shops in Gazipur's Konabari.
No casualties were reported in the incident that occurred in the Notun Arat area around 6:30am on Thursday, reports bdnews24.com.
Three shops and seven mini-garment factories were engulfed in flames, according to Konabari Modern Fire Service Warehouse Inspector Saiful Islam.
Three firefighting units subsequently brought the fire under control, Md Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service.
Authorities suspect that an electric short circuit caused the fire.
