The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination scheduled for Thursday, July 24, has also been postponed.
The announcement was made on Tuesday afternoon by Education Adviser Professor Dr. C. R. Abrar during an address to students at the Milestone School and College campus.
Meanwhile, the interim government has deemed all six demands raised by protesting students of Milestone School and College since this morning to be reasonable.
In a statement issued by the Press Wing of the Chief Adviser to the Interim Government, the Education Adviser informed students that a new date for the July 24 HSC exam will be announced after the completion of the regular examination schedule.
Earlier, Tuesday’s HSC exam was also postponed. The announcement was made late Monday night by Information and Broadcasting Adviser Mahfuz Alam, citing Education Adviser Abrar.
On Monday, a training fighter jet of the Bangladesh Air Force crashed on the campus of Milestone School and College in Dhaka’s Uttara.
So far, 31 people, including the aircraft’s pilot, have been confirmed dead, and 170 others are receiving treatment at various hospitals.
