The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police in Mirpur has called for volunteers to restore order on the roads.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the division stated “Participate in the Traffic Assistant Group initiative with the slogan 'Better Traffic, Better Country' and be a stakeholder in solving traffic problems!”

Those interested in working as traffic volunteers in the areas under the Mirpur Traffic Division (Kalyanpur, Technical, Gabtoli, Mazar Road, Darus Salam, Mirpur-1, 2, 10, 11, 12, 14, Kalshi, Kochukhet, Kazipara, Shewrapara, Pallabi) have been asked to connect with the division by providing their name and address through the Google Form attached in the post.

"Please note that this is a completely voluntary activity; we are undertaking this work out of social responsibility. There is no financial compensation associated with it", they said in the Facebook post.
