Two Bangladesh citizens are reportedly among the injured people in the deadly triple train collision in Odisha State of India that took place on Friday evening.
Citing a Bangladesh deputy high commission official in Kolkata, Bangladesh’s news outlets said the two injured Bangladeshi nationals were going to Chennai from Kolkata’s Shalimar station. They are taking treatment at a hospital in Balasore, a city in Odisha.
Bangladesh officials are continuing efforts to find out their identities.
Nearly 300 people were killed and more than 900 people were injured in the India’s deadliest rail accident in more than two decades.
