Two protesting students killed in clashes at Uttara

Two students have been killed during the clashes between the quota reform protesters, police, and RAB in the capital's Uttara. 

Doctors have confirmed that both the deceased were protesters.

Several hundreds of students were also injured in the clashes that occurred on Thursday morning.

Around 11 am today, students from various private universities, colleges, and schools in Uttara started gathering in front of Jamjam Tower.

Later, when they tried to march onto the main road with a procession, police and RAB attempted to disperse them. Subsequently, clashes erupted.
