Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus on Wednesday said that, like many others, he is also a person against any war in the world, but they live in a world where the threat of war always surrounds them.
Apparently highlighting the global context, Prof. Yunus said it becomes difficult to remain unprepared, and it is a suicidal approach to stay without preparation in such a situation.
While addressing the members of the Bangladesh Air Force, the chief adviser also referred to the situation between India and Pakistan and media reports suggesting a war-like scenario.
He observed the Bangladesh Air Force exercise at Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Uttam AK Khandaker, UNB reports.
The chief adviser mentioned that war is always very expensive, but there must be efforts to take preparation to a higher level.
