Yunus sits for talks with few political parties

As part of the interim government’s activities, Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to sit with representatives from the major political parties this afternoon.

The chief advisor’s schedule shows a five-hour block of time from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm today (Saturday) for the meetings, according to media reports.

The head of the interim govt is set to meet with the leaders including Khelafat Majlish, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), the Jatiyatabadi Samamona Jote, Bangladesh JaSaD, the 12 Party Alliance, Gono Forum, and the Jatiya Party at the State Guest House Jamuna.

The first meeting will be held with the two factions of the Khelafat Majlish.
