The socio-cultural organization “Paruli” once again brought together children, parents, and locals for its annual “Children’s Eid-Ananda” celebration, held Wednesday at the scenic Kahur Chala field in Pabriya Chala, Sreepur Upazila.

With the motto “If I am beautiful, the society will be beautiful, the world will be beautiful,” Paruli organized the day-long event to promote happiness, unity, and creativity among children regardless of religion, caste, or background. Participants from five neighboring villages joined in the festivities.

Children took part in a variety of activities, including a 100-meter sprint, biscuit run, balloon blowing, ball throwing, painting, rhymes, singing, and recitation contests. A mothers’ chair-setting competition added further cheer to the gathering. Faces beamed with joy as families came together to celebrate in a lively, inclusive atmosphere.

Distinguished guests included Selim Reza, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology; Bangladesh Betar presenter Fatima Afroz Soheli; Karmasangsthan Bank manager Mobarak Hossain Selim; IT expert Ikhtiar Uddin Bilash; River Travelers’ Party Sreepur branch president Sayed Chowdhury; and Pabaria Chala Adarsh High School headmaster Nurul Islam Babul.

The program was directed by Shumagno Shouro, convener of Paruli, who expressed commitment to expanding the celebration in the coming years. “Our efforts will continue to double the joy of Eid for children every year,” he said.

The event reflected Paruli’s belief that ensuring a happy, healthy, and culturally rich environment for children is a shared responsibility—one that continues to unite communities in joy and purpose.
