DU student sets world record for most football toe taps in a minute

Ragib Shahriar, a student of the Communication Disorders Department of Dhaka University, has set the Guiness world record for the most football toe taps in one minute.

With 220 taps in a minute, he broke the previous record of 212 taps to set this new one.

The Guinness World Records website has confirmed that he achieved this record on February 20 in Dhaka. 

“This accomplishment required immense dedication and hard work & I often practiced late at night. Everytime I felt like giving up, an intangible force kept me going, reminding me that I had to achieve this by any means necessary,” Shahriar wrote on his Facebook account on Monday, sharing his happiness with all his well-wishers.

In April 2022, another Bangladeshi youth Prenchong Mro set a Guinness World Record for most football toe taps in a minute with 208 taps.
