Emirates as the first airline in its region has offered NDC-enabled direct connect gateway for travel trade partners, the Dubai-based airline said in a statement on Saturday.
The new Emirates gateway will feature bespoke products and services, including rich content and differentiated pricing, starting from 01 July, 2021, according to the airline.
From the same day, it adds, a surcharge on all bookings made via Global Distribution Systems (GDS) will also kick in.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer said, “Our goal is to empower our trade partners to deliver even better customer experiences."
He expressed pleasure at the introduction of "the next batch of new exclusive features and benefits for them on Emirates Gateway."
Emirates Gateway was launched in October last year.
