Apple's iPhone dominates internet speeds in Bangladesh, reveals Ookla study

In the latest Ookla Speedtest Global Index for Q3 2023, Apple's iPhone has emerged as Bangladesh's undisputed leader in internet browsing speeds. The study, which analyzes global internet speed data, highlights the exceptional performance of Apple devices in the country, with the iPhone 14 Pro Max taking the lead.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max has proven to be the frontrunner, showcasing an impressive median download speed of 45.93 Mbps. The iPhone 13 and the iPhone 12 5G models are hot on their heels, boasting median download speeds of 44.71 Mbps and 43.84 Mbps, respectively. This places Apple's flagship devices at the forefront of the mobile internet experience in Bangladesh.

The overall data reveals a median download speed of 34.80 Mbps for Apple devices, surpassing other prominent manufacturers. Following Apple in the rankings are OnePlus, Samsung, Xiaomi, and Realme, each demonstrating varied download and upload speeds and latency performances.

The study also delved into the combined performance of major cell phone manufacturers, confirming Apple's dominance in Q3 2023 with a median download speed of 34.80 Mbps. 

While OnePlus and Samsung secured positions as top contenders, their median download speeds of 30.07 Mbps and 18.68 Mbps highlighted a considerable gap from Apple's stellar performance.

Xiaomi and Realme, while still offering competitive speeds, find themselves at the lower end of the spectrum with median download speeds of 16.10 Mbps and 15.97 Mbps, respectively.
