Four major sectors at risk of cyber-attacks, says Palak

State Minister for Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak fears cyber-attacks on four major sectors, including the banking sector, of the country.

He came up with the statement after a meeting on cyber security on Tuesday.

“Banking sector, readymade garment sector, telecom sector and power and energy sector may face cyber-attack,” the junior minister said after reviewing the cyber security in the current situation

Palak informed that eight websites faced more than 50,000 cyber-attacks in 10 days.
