It's been five years since the last Windows upgrade and Microsoft has come up with the latest one- Windows 11. The new features have been the subject of speculation. As Windows is constantly notifying you about their latest upgrade, you might want to know what’s new in the brand new windows version.

Redesigned look

Windows 11 has been redesigned which makes it very easy to use. This will create room for more productivity, creativity, and convenience. The new design allows the user to easily multitask by offering flexibility of multiple windows and the ability to snap apps side by side.

Easy connectivity

Microsoft Teams chat, which is integrated into the taskbar, gives you a faster method to interact with the people you care about. This feature was inspired by the COVID-19 affected world.

Made for Gamers

With features like DirectX12 Ultimate, DirectStorage, and Auto HDR, Windows 11 is the greatest Windows yet for gaming and unleashes the full power of your system's hardware.

For one low monthly fee, Xbox Game Pass for PC or Ultimate gives you access to over 100 high-quality PC games to play on Windows 11 including games like Halo Infinite, Twelve Minutes, Age of Empires IV, and more this year.

Accessibility features

Windows 11 is the most inclusive version of Windows ever, with new accessibility features created for and by people with disabilities. With touch, digital pen, and voice interaction, Windows 11 is optimised for speed, efficiency, and superior experiences.

Get necessary information faster

Widgets, a new AI-powered personalised feed, gives a faster way to access the information one values the most, and the user can get more done on the web with Microsoft Edge's world-class performance, speed, and productivity features.

All new Microsoft store

Windows 11 includes a redesigned Microsoft Store that makes it easier to find and search for your favorite programs, games, shows, and movies in one secure spot.

All downloaded apps for MS store are tested for both security and family safety. Microsoft stores will have third party apps like Microsoft Teams, Visual Studio, Disney+, Adobe Creative Cloud, Zoom and Canva.

New opportunity for developers and creators

Windows 11 will enable developers and independent software vendors (ISVs) to bring their apps regardless of whether they’re built as a Win32, Progressive Web App (PWA), or Universal Windows App (UWP) or any other app framework, creating an opportunity to reach and engage with more people.

In case of revenue, Microsoft announced a gradual shift in their share policies where app developers can now bring their own commerce into Microsoft store and keep 100 per cent of the revenue. App developers can still use Microsoft’s commerce with competitive revenue share of 85/15.

According to Microsoft, Windows 11 was released on Tuesday. Eligible Windows 10 PCs will gradually receive a free upgrade, newer PC sales will come pre-installed with Windows 11, and updates will be rolled out in phases to all PCs.
