Jalal Yunus resigns as BCB director

Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) cricket operations committee’s chairman Jalal Yunus has resigned as a director of the board.

Local news portals said Jalal Yunus submitted his resignation letter to the National Sports Council as he was an NSC-nominated director.

Sajjadul Alam, another NSC-nominated director, is also expected to step down from his post.

Their resignations would pave the way to get new president of the cricket board as appointment as BCB president must become a director first. After the resignations of Jalal Yunus and Sajjadul Alam, the NSC would nominate two new directors for BCB. Among them, one would become the president.
