SEMC Football Fest-2024, organised by BAF Shaheen English Medium College (SEMC), commenced at the sports grounds of BAF SEMC on Friday.
The three-day long tournament started with the participation of 20 teams from 11 esteemed English-medium schools of Dhaka under 3 different categories: Junior-Boys’, Senior-Boys’ & Girls’, according to an ISPR press release.
Air Vice Marshal Md Sharif Uddin Sarker, chairman of the governing body of BAF SEMC and air officer commanding of BAF Base Bashar, inaugurated the event.
In the opening match, Junior Boys team of BAF SEMC played against Junior Boys team of European Standard School. BAF SEMC team made draw with European Standard School team by 0-0 goal.
Among others, senior BAF officers, teachers and students were present on the occasion.
The closing ceremony of SEMC Football Fest-2024 will be held on 10 March 2024.
