Eastern Lubricants Blenders holds 56th Annual General Meeting

The 56th Annual General Meeting of Eastern Lubricants Blenders PLC was held virtually on Saturday morning.

Mr. Md Rezanur Rahman, an additional secretary to the government and Chairman of Petrobangla and ELB PLC, presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

Directors Mr. Md. Abdul Matin, Mr. Kabir Mahmood, Mrs. Shahina Sultana, Shareholder Director Mr. Md. Shahadat Hossen ACMA, Managing Director Engr. Mohammad Shahidul Alam, Company Secretary Mr. Abu Mohammad Saifuddin, CFO Mr. Md. Rezaul Karim Siddique as well as BPC and the company's high officials were present at the meeting.

After the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, the chairman welcomed the shareholders in the Annual General Meeting.

The meeting started with the chairman's inviting comments on the proceedings of the last Annual General Meeting followed by comments on the Directors' Report and audited financial statements for the year that ended on 30 June 2024.

After approval of audited financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2024, the shareholders approved the 80 per cent cash dividend and 10 per cent stock dividend in total 90 per cent dividend per share for the year 2023-24.

Shareholders appreciated the company's overall performance during the meeting. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
