Top ten traded companies captured 22 per cent turnover of the major bourse on Wednesday. Khulna Power Company Ltd (KPCL) dominated the chart for fourth day in a row.
Brokers said the investors were active both sides on Khulna Power's shares as its share price saw substantial fall in the past few weeks.
In the last two months, the power generation company's share price fell 178 per cent or Tk 92.70 each to came down to Tk 52.20 on December 19.
Its share price jumped 20 per cent in the last four trading days since December 19 to reach at Tk 62.90 on Monday.
However, the company's share price fell 3.81 per cent to close at Tk 60.50 each on Wednesday.
