The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the consumer-level price of 12-kilogramme liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders by Tk 19 while adjusting the price for February.
Consumers will have to pay Tk 1,478 for a 12-kg LPG cylinder from Sunday evening.
The price was Tk 1,459 in January.
The retail price of autogas, the LPG used in vehicles, has been fixed higher at Tk 67.78 per litre from the previous Tk 66.78 per litre.
