The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the consumer-level price of 12-kilogramme liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders by Tk 35 while adjusting the price for October.
Consumers will have to pay Tk 1,456 for a 12-kg LPG cylinder from Wednesday evening. The price was Tk 1,421 in September, Tk 1,377 in August and Tk 1,366 in July.
As per the announcement, the BERC fixed the price of per kilogramme of LPG at Tk 121.32, including value-added tax, at the consumer level.
