Administrator appointed for E-Cab

The Ministry of Commerce has appointed Muhammad Saeed Ali, Deputy Secretary of the Central Digital Cell, as the administrator of the E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (E-Cab).

This decision was made under Section 17 of the Trade Organizations Act 2022, according to an order signed by Additional Secretary Dr. Naznin Kauser Chowdhury, UNB reports. 

The administrator is tasked with overseeing the process of holding a fair and transparent election within 120 days and handing over the responsibilities to the newly elected committee and inform the ministry accordingly.
