Bangladesh Association of Banks elected Chairman, Vice Chairman

Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) on Monday, elected Mr Abdul Hai Sarker, chairman, board of directors of Dhaka Bank PLC as chairman, Mr Mohammad Abdul Mannan, chairman, board of directors of First Security Islami Bank PLC and Mr Romo Rouf Chowdhury, chairman, board of directors of Bank Asia PLC as vice chairman for the remaining period of the current term (till February 2025).

The decision was made during the Executive Committee meeting held at the Board room of the Bangladesh Association of Banks, according to a press release.

Mr Abdul Awal Mintoo, chairman of the board of directors of National Bank Ltd and former chairman of BAB and FBCCI presided over the meeting.
