Bangladesh and Vietnam today (Tuesday) discussed establishing air connectivity by introducing direct flights between Dhaka and Hanoi.
The discussion took place when Vietnam Ambassador to Bangladesh Nguyen Manh Cuong met with Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Chairman Air Vice-Marshal Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan at the CAAB headquarters in the capital.
During the meeting, they also discussed establishing a ground service agreement and enhancing aviation cooperation, BSS reports, citing a press release.
The two sides also talked about ways to further expand mutual collaboration in the aviation sector.
The representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy and Vietnam Airlines were also present on the occasion.
