Bengal Commercial Bank holds Annual Risk Conference 2024

Bengal Commercial Bank PLC (BGCB) organised its ‘Annual Risk Conference 2024’ recently at the bank’s head office in Gulshan in Dhaka with a pledge to ensure robust risk management, and regulatory compliance and to raise awareness on risk management.

Tarik Morshed, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, reiterated the bank's commitment to building a strong risk management culture at all levels of the bank’s activities, according to a press release.

A.N.M. Moinul Kabir, Director of the Department of Off-site Supervision (Division-2) of Bangladesh Bank, Mohammad Arif Hasan and Robin Chandra Paul, Joint Director and Deputy Director respectively of the same Department, were present at the conference as the resource persons.

K. M. Awlad Hossain, Additional Managing Director of Bengal Commercial Bank; Md Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director; Md. Humayun Kabir, FCS, Company Secretary; and Pronab Kumar Roy, Chief Risk Officer; were also present at the conference while all divisional heads and branch managers of the bank took part in the conference.
