Bengal Commercial Bank opens Khatunganj Islami banking sub-branch

Bengal Commercial Bank (BGCB) has opened its new sub-branch at Khatunganj in Chattogram.

Mahbubul Alam, Vice Chairman of the Bank and President of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) inaugurated the branch recently, according to a media release.

K M Awlad Hossain, Deputy Managing Director and CBO of the bank, presided over the inaugural ceremony while Company Secretary, other high officials, clients, businessmen and local elites were also present.

So far, the bank has opened a total of 27 new branches and sub-branches.

More branches and sub-branches will be opened soon in different parts of the country, including Atibazar in Keraniganj and Poddar Bazar in Lakshmipur, the release says.
