Import and export between Bangladesh and India through the Bhomra land port of in Satkhira will be suspended for six consecutive days from today (Wednesday) on the occasion of Durga Puja, the largest religious festival for the Hindu community.
However, the movement of passengers between the two countries will remain uninterrupted, according to media reports.
Ghojadanga C&F Agents Cargo Welfare Association of India informed the information through a letter to Bhomra Land port C&F Agents Association, said the reports.
According to the notice, normal trade activities will resume on Tuesday, October 15.
