The first return hajj flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines BG 332 carrying 418 pilgrims arrived Dhaka at 7:15 am on Monday.
After landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka, the pilgrims were provided with Zamzam water from Biman's well-equipped counter adjacent to the customs hall and the pilgrims were greeted with flowers by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, says a press release.
Senior officials of Biman Bangladesh Airlines were present at that time.
According to the directives of Saudi Arabia authorities, no pilgrims can carry Zamzam water with them. The airlines will transport and distribute the holy water to the pilgrims. Every pilgrim is getting five litres of Zamzam water according to the rule. Biman Bangladesh Airlines is distributing Zamzam water to its passengers (pilgrims) and passengers of other airlines.
