BRAC Bank honours coworkers for championing learning and development

BRAC Bank has honoured its coworkers who demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication to training and development in 2024.

The bank has introduced a recognition initiative styled 'Learning Luminaries Award 2024' to celebrate excellence in learning and development of the coworkers, according to a press release. 

A total of 78 officials were recognised for their outstanding contribution as top trainers, high scorers in training evaluation, successful project team members and dedicated support division members fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organisation.​

Managing Director & CEO Selim R. F. Hussain presented the awards, acknowledging the dedication of the officials to enhancing the bank's learning ecosystem.

He emphasised the importance of continuous learning in driving organisational growth and excellence, terming skilled human resources as the most important capital of the bank.

The 'Learning Luminaries Award' is part of BRAC Bank's ongoing initiative to cultivate a learning-centric environment, the release says. 

By recognising and rewarding coworkers who contribute significantly to training and development, the bank aims to motivate others to engage actively in their professional growth and progress in the career ladder.

Akhteruddin Mahmood, Head of Human Resources, and Umme Salma, Head of Learning & Development, were present at the award ceremony held on April 13, 2025, the release adds.
