BRAC Bank plants 3,000 trees on World Environment Day

BRAC Bank recently celebrated World Environment Day by planting 3,000 trees at the Sheikh Hasina Polly Unnayan Academy in Jamalpur district.

The bank undertook this initiative in collaboration with Torupallab, a non-profit organisation. The plants sown were carefully selected to ensure their resilience against the changing climate, according to a press release.

BRAC Bank's Vice Chairperson Faruq Mayeenuddin, Head of Communication Ekram Kabir, Torupallab’s General Secretary Mokarom Hossain, Life Member Razia Samad, Executive Members Shahana Chowdhury and Imam Gazi, and officials of the Polly Unnayan Academy were present at the tree-planting ceremony.
