BRAC Bank has unveiled its new football jersey for the Sheikh Hasina Inter-bank Football Tournament 2024 in Dhaka city.
To celebrate the release of its new jersey, the bank hosted a friendly match between its football team and Shonali Otit Bangladesh, a club featuring former national players, according to a press release.
The event at the Fortis Downtown Resort Field on Wednesday, brought amateur footballers from banking professionals together with former national footballers.
The friendly match fostered camaraderie among players and fans, highlighting the bank's commitment to supporting sporting initiatives that transcend boundaries.
It featured notable former national players, including Biplob (goalkeeper), Shamim, Arman, Alfaz, Jakir, Jalal, Kanchan, Shamin, Hieu, Nokib, Kanon, Moni and Hossen.
Selim R F Hussain, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank, expressed his excitement over the event, stating, "At BRAC Bank, we believe in the power of sports to bring people together, inspire greatness, and drive positive change.
