Chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Md Mohiuddin Ahmed has resigned from his position.
In a resignation letter sent to the posts and telecommunication ministry on Wednesday, the BTRC chief cited his illness behind the resignation.
Earlier, a group of officials and employees of BTRC protested, demanding the resignation of the chairman over allegations of discrimination and corruption.
