Community Bank contributes Tk 3.0m chief adviser's fund for flood victims

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has contributed Tk 3 miilion (30 lac) to the Honorable Chief Advisor's Relief and Welfare Fund to stand by the flood affected people. 

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, Mr. Faruk-e-Azam, Bir Pratik, Advisor to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief of the Interim Government of Bangladesh, has received a pay order of taka 30 lac from Mr. Md. Hasnat Khan Rezvi, Member of the Sustainable Finance Unit of Community Bank, and Mr. Dedarul Karim of the Marketing Department. Disaster Management and Relief Secretary Mr. Md. Kamrul Hasan, ndc was present there.

Additionally, the employees of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC already contributed a fund equivalent to their one day's salary to the Honorable Chief Advisor's Relief and Welfare Fund, according to a press release.
