Bangladesh Development Bank Limited has been renamed ‘Bangladesh Development Bank PLC’.
Shareholders of the bank approved the decision regarding the change of the name at its first Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held at its head office on Tuesday, says a press release.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank and also the former senior secretary of the government Shamima Nargis, Additional Secretary of Financial Institutions Division Mofiz Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO of the bank Md Habibur Rahman Gazi, Directors of the bank Md Ekhlasur Rahman, Md Abu Hanif Khan, Subhash Chandra Sarker, Quazi Shairul Hassan, K M Tariqul Islam and Md Azizur Rahman were present at the meeting.
