Diesel price up by Tk 1 a litre, petrol, octane by Tk 2.5

The government has increased the prices of diesel, petrol and octane by up to Tk 2.5 per litre. 

The prices of diesel and kerosene were increased by Tk 1 to Tk 107 per litre, up from Tk 106. Similarly, the prices of petrol and octane were raised by Tk 2.5 per litre to Tk 124.5 from Tk 122 and to Tk 128.5 from Tk 126, respectively.

The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources issued a circular on Tuesday announcing the new prices.

The new prices will take effect at midnight on Tuesday, it added.
