Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has been awarded the ‘Outstanding Response to COVID-19’ global award for its efforts in supporting its CMSME and Agri clients during the pandemic.
The award was presented to MTB at ‘Global Innovation Awards 2023’ by Digital Banker, a leading global banking and finance publication, says a media release.
Being virtually present at the award-giving ceremony, Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director and CEO of the bank, expressed his commitment to continue innovative efforts and initiatives to build a sustainable and resilient economy.
MTB was able to support a total of 1,280 CMSME clients, 420 Agri clients, and 1,700 clients, with a total limit of Tk 6,779 million during the pandemic.
