EBL, SQ Group sign payroll banking agreement

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL), leading private commercial bank of the country, has signed a payroll banking agreement with SQ Group, a top manufacturer of electrical products, at the EBL’s head office at Dhaka recently. 

M. Khorshed Anowar, DMD and Head of Retail and SME Banking of EBL and A.Z.M. Monjurul Quader, Chairman, SQ Electricals Ltd (a concern of SQ Group) signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides, according to a media release. 

Under the agreement, employees of SQ Group will enjoy a range of EBL exclusive banking services including privilege of accessing dual-currency debit cards, which offer greater convenience for international transactions, benefit from a variety of loan options tailored to meet their financial needs, alongside a comprehensive selection of other banking perks designed to enhance their financial well-being.

EBL Head of Business Syed Zulkar Nayen, Head of Payroll Banking Trisha Taklim; SQ Group Director- Sales and Marketing, Abdullah Al Masum, Director- Trading and Planning Golam Samdani, CFO Mohammod Mamunur Rashid Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
